In an interview with Epoka e Re daily, Albanian journalist Koco Danaj rightly says
that the process of reunification of the Albanians within the boundaries of a
state of their own called Ethnic Albania is inevitable (perhaps even before 2013).
Ethnic Albania is not the "Greater Albania" of the political and diplomatic
circles of official Serbia headed by Foreign Minister Draskovic.
Despite all the disinformation and the biased anti-Albanian interpretation of the
Albanian analyst's statement on the part of Serbian Foreign Minister Draskovic and
the TANJUG news agency, its terse and clear message must have been understood not
only by the chauvinist and neo-colonialist circles of Serbian official politics
but also by those in Montenegro, Greece, and Macedonia, because unless the problem
of the colonial status of the Albanians living in these artificial states is
resolved, there can be no security and peace in the Balkans.
Looking at problems in their historical, political, and juridical aspects, Danaj
comes to the objective conclusion that the colonizing Serbian-Slav states (Serbia,
Montenegro, Greece, and Macedonia) are "unnatural creations," that is, artificial
state structures set up on territories belonging to the Albanians and to ethnic
Albania. The Albanians and their international allies know this historical truth
full well. Draskovic, the pessimistic Serbian "George Orwell," had predicted as
early as 2002 the natural disintegration of artificial Greater Serbia!
Hence, Draskovic has no valid reason to oppose the predictions made by Koco Danaj,
who says that within a few years (no later than 2013) all the Albanians living in
the Balkans will be reunited in their natural state -- Ethnic Albania. This
statement must not be understood or interpreted according to the tyrannical
bandit-like whims of the Serbian-Slav colonialist and hegemony-seeking strategy,
or seen as utopian, because in the very near future the Albanians of all Balkan
countries will be reunited within the borders of Ethnic Albania. Whether
Draskovic, Tadic, Kostunica, the "Black Angels" of the Serbian Orthodox Church,
and the neighboring colonialist states like it or not, this is bound to happen.
In other words, the populations and territories grabbed by the Serbian,
Montenegrin, Macedonian, and Greek imperialists will -- in a peaceful and
legitimate manner -- be restored to Ethnic Albania, not "Greater Albania," as the
distorted science, politics, and propaganda
of Greater Serbia keeps saying, having concocted "Greater Albania" to further its
expansionist and militarist ends in the Balkans, a fiction that, according to the
needs and the political developments in the region and beyond it, is wielded as a
"modern weapon" to oppose and even deny the historical truth of the ethnic,
territorial, and state existence of the Albanians in the Balkans. Only those
politicians who have always been on the side of colonialist and genocidal Serbia
and the Serbian |
|
have always been on the side of colonialist and genocidal Serbia
and the Serbian-Slav "Little Entente" in its Balkan dimension can fail to see that.
Moreover, the head of Serbian diplomacy himself predicted the reunion and
independence of the Albanians in their ethnic state as early as four years ago
(2002), stressing: "Kosova and Metohia will become independent states, or more
precisely will form Greater Albania. As a result, Bujanovac, Medvedja, and Presevo
will in effect be left outside Serbia, which means that Greater Albania will knock
at Vranje's door"
(www.antic.org 30 June 2002).
However, Vuk Draskovic, Serbia, Montenegro, Greece, and Macedonia have no reason
to be "frightened" by Koco Danaj's statement, which does not express his personal
stance, but is -- directly or indirectly -- a reaffirmation of the all-Albanian
national platform, an ideal of all Albanians. This natural, legitimate, and
ever-living aspiration to the defense of national and state identity, of Ethnic
Albania, and of the whole of the Albanian nation in the Balkans is officially
sanctioned in the Constitution of the Republic of Albania, which was adopted in
1998 and which, among other things says: "...with the centuries-long aspiration of
the Albanian people to preserve their identity and achieve national unification,
with the deep conviction that justice, peace, harmony, and cooperation among
nations are the highest values of mankind." (Preamble to the Constitution of the
Republic of Albania, Tirana, 2002, p 5.)
So no matter what Draskovic, Kostunica, Tadic, Patriarch Pavle, Bishop Artemije,
or the Serbian delegation to the Vienna talks (which has warned that it will use
"Greater Albania" as a "justification" to defend Serbia's colonial sovereignty
(over Kosova [Kosovo] and its artificial territorial integrity) may say, this
statement expresses the aims of the official strategy, policy, and science of the
Republic of Albania, regardless of who may be at its head today, tomorrow, or the
day after.
